NCCIH reports limited evidence for stinging nettle in some BPH symptom studies, but this does not establish finished-product results.

A common plant used in different forms
Stinging nettle (Urtica dioica) is used in foods and a variety of herbal preparations. Root extracts investigated for urinary complaints are not equivalent to all nettle products or culinary uses. Extract identity, amount and patient population matter.
How NCCIH characterizes the evidence
NCCIH describes limited clinical evidence that nettle alone or with saw palmetto may help some lower urinary tract symptoms. Limited evidence is not a guarantee, and the literature does not establish that arbitrary mixtures containing nettle have a clinically meaningful effect.
Is nettle in ProstaPeak?
The reviewed ProstaPeak seller materials do not confirm that stinging nettle is included. This is a general prostate-supplement research article, not a ProstaPeak formula claim. We would need the current complete Supplement Facts label before making an ingredient attribution.
How to judge combination studies
Results from a trial involving nettle and another herb cannot necessarily be transferred to a different combination. The ratio of constituents, extraction process, dose and study endpoints can change the outcome.
Clinical decisions still come first
Difficulty urinating and frequent nighttime waking are not specific to one condition. Discuss new or worsening symptoms with a clinician and consider proven treatment options where appropriate.
